Another One Bites the Dust

For some reason when I hear the term Medicare Advantage, that Queen song “Another One Bites the Dust”  keeps playing on a loop in my head, and yesterday I figured out why.  Yesterday CIGNA announced that it will NOT offer its Medicare Access (PFFS) in 2011.Those currently on the CIGNA plan will not see any change until the end of the year.  At that time, Beneficiaries will receive a letter letting them know they will need to find another medical coverage plan.

There are special rules in place to protect those who have pre-existing conditions when their plan is no longer offered.  If you know of anyone on a CIGNA plan or any other plan that is no longer offering services, help them out and have them call us for a free advisor session so they can see what their options are.  Local 816-254-6100 or Toll Free 1-888-535-0999.
